Na 13 jaar als oncologie fysiotherapeut gewerkt te hebben, wilde ik meer de medische richting op. In september 2022 begon ik met de opleiding tot Physician Assistant, waarbij ik uiteindelijk de functie van zaalarts op de verpleegafdeling oncologie & hematologie ga vervullen. Ik zorg voor continuïteit van zorg en draag bij aan de deskundigheidsbevordering van collega-zorgverleners.
